If you thought you had to go to the ski resorts for flow - think again. Trailshare operates 30 km of private mountain biking 1.5 hours north of Sydney. Full of features, 200m vertical from top to bottom, lots of flowing downhills, twisting singletrack and some mammoth switchback climbs , as well as the best jump lines on the Central Coast.
Please Note - Our Big jump line is currently closed until further notice
We are located at Cedar Brush Creek (near Kulnura) on the Central Coast of NSW and operate a total of 32km of purpose built MTB Trails across 5 graded loops - shown below . If you're interested in organised group rides or events, skills training or fitness training please check out our coaching page.
Purpose-built bike trails
TrailShare provides over 25km of hand and machine built mountain biking trails. There are 5 grades, ranging from the 4 km entry-level green trail, with wide tracks and minimal climbing, to the challenging 8km black and red trails packed with technical singletrack, aerial platforms, roller-coaster downhills and over 400m of vertical climbing. The terrain is highly varied and will challenge every rider in one or other dimension.
For those who require it, we provide quality Cannondale mountain bikes for hire, will service and repair your own bike, and have a modest supply of bike "consumables" to purchase - tires, tubes, chains, lubricant, tube sealant and brake fluid and pads . We also do guided tours by prior arrangement.
Unique 100% self-sustaining
Our award-winning steel eco-cabins are completely off-grid - using rainwater, solar energy, bio-composting and local heating fuel. We can sleep up to 6 people at a time, and there is day accommodation for up to another 6 visitors should you need this. The property has free (if somewhat slow) WiFi access, self catering facilities including a fridge, oven and microwave, hot and cold water, plenty of parking, log fires in winter, and complete isolation from civilization.
Trees, birds, wildlife, quiet
You will have access to our own 425 acres of private virgin schlerophyll forest, populated by black cockatoos, lyrebirds and whipbirds, wallabies, wombats, goannas, echidnas and platypus. For the more adventurous, the 25,000 hectares of the Olney state forest are freely accessible from our property, and if you want to go further afield the local towns of Peats Ridge, Yarramalong and Wollombi are within half an hour's drive on country roads.
Please note : you must approach our property via George Downs Drive (in the west). The routes from both Sydney and Newcastle are shown below.
Sometimes Google maps tries to direct visitors to approach us from the East (via Cedar Brush Creek Rd). This will land you in a dead end with no option but to go a very long way round back to George Downs Drive .
